Eclecta Books is preparing a special selection of books, booklets, magazines and ephemera dating from the 1920s to the 1980s for The Vintage Village at Stockport Market Hall. The focus is on art and design - with publications covering subjects such as fashion, furniture, domestic, book design, architecture, poetry, cinema and theatre - and includes exhibition catalogues, plus some design postcards. There will also be a more general line up of books that have interesting characteristics. Some of the material will be rare and collectable out-of-print or first editions; some will be 'of' an era, and some about an era. Eclecta Books has a website with an extensive range of books, although most of the books and paper collectables which will be on sale at our fair are not online. |   |
