There’s been a lot of talk about going back to when Britain was Great, but precisely when was that?  How far back do you want to go?  Well 50 years ago might be a good choice.

1966 was a momentous year for all kinds of reasons: the Action Man toy figure was launched!  16 year old Twiggy was named “The Face of 1966” and promptly became the most famous model in the world, ever.  John Lennon quipped that the Beatles were “more popular than Jesus now” and promptly regretted it.  And England won the World Cup!

British music and fashion led the way in 1966, and we want to celebrate it!

DJ Little Bren will be along to play the best of 1960s music, and we’ve got a whole heap of prime vintage for cool chicks, groovy guys and hip homes for you to peruse.

And don't worry, your favourite, award-winning master of the cake arts, Stuart Thornley Cake Design, will be here to supply all your sweet treat needs.

Optional dress code: have a guess!

Let us know you’re coming on our Facebook event page, and feel free to invite all your friends!
