Welcome to the online home of The Vintage Village.
Here you will find quality authentic vintage clothing and accessories for men and women, vintage jewellery, homewares, decorative items, textiles, luggage, furniture, curios and collectables, and a judicious selection of locally handmade crafts with a vintage flavour.
There's so much to see, at very affordable prices with some great bargains to be found.
Our pop-up 'village' appears on the second Sunday of every month throughout the year, from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm in Stockport's glorious Victorian Covered Market Hall.
This cast-iron and glass landmark is centrally located, clearly signposted, easy to find and well-served by public transport, and there's plenty of nearby car parking too, most of it free on Sundays.
• You can find our forthcoming dates on the Events page.
• Where is it and how do I get there? Find out here.
• Meet some of our fabulous vintage and craft traders here.
• Watch some videos of The Vintage Village in our Vintage Village on Video section.
And don't miss Room at the Top Vintage Goods, a charming little vintage centre in the equally historic Produce Hall just a few steps away from Stockport Market Hall, which is open during every Vintage Village fair.
NEWS! the fascinating Staircase House is offering Vintage Village visitors a two-for-one entrance deal on the day of our fairs.
Show your Vintage Village hand stamps at the door and you pay only one entrance fee and can bring a companion in for free. If an adult has a hand stamp they can bring a child over five in for free (under fives are free entry anyway).
Staircase House is right next to Stockport Market Hall, and is an amazing experience in time travel!
BIG NEWS! We have been voted Britain's Best Antique & Vintage Market by the readers of Pretty Nostalgic magazine!
Many, many thanks for all your support in winning us our very first national award!
We got a certificate to prove it! Photo by Andrew Ayres.
We always provide the best in refreshments because we know you need quality sustenance for all that intensive vintage browsing!
There's an ever changing roster of top quality food providers, and Kandoo Coffee, whose espresso based coffees prepared with freshly roasted beans have won a devoted following (they also offer a range of teas and cold drinks too).
The Market Hall is completely enclosed and has an underfloor heating system, so not only is it weatherproof, its a teeny bit less chilly in the winter months.
There is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the Market Hall, and toilets in Room at the Top Vintage Goods, only a few steps away across the Market Place.
Well-behaved dogs are always welcome at The Vintage Village!
